The Sahara Rally Adventure

Meeting Charlie and Fred

During a previous assignment, Roman had the pleasure of meeting Charlie. He was incredibly well-connected in North Africa and later introduced him to Fred. Fred is a passionate rally driver who has even won several international rallies. This connection would prove invaluable for one of our most exciting projects yet.

The Birthday Request

When we received a request for a unique birthday outing, I proposed an exhilarating rally race through the Sahara. With Charlie and Fred’s help, we assembled rally cars and a support team, meticulously planning every detail of the event.

Arrival and Preparation

We picked up the eight friends directly from Marrakech Airport in Morocco and whisked them away in three black Jeeps to the desert in just under 40 minutes. Upon arrival at our specially constructed temporary tent camp – complete with air conditioning, comfortable king-size beds, and showers – we began the two-day rally training immediately after a brief refreshment.

Training with Fred

Fred shared many exciting tips and tricks during the intensive two-day rally training with the Predators. This preparation was essential for the two-day rally race toward Western Sahara.

The Rally Race

The rally included solo track races and duo rally stages, both undertaken at high speeds across sand, rocks, and dunes. The thrill of racing through such a challenging and varied terrain was unparalleled.
